The base level of the Honda Certified program is HondaTrue Used, which includes pre-owned vehicles up to 10 years old with no mileage limit. While this includes older and higher mileage models than most CPO programs, you can still rest assured that these are high-quality options that have been thoroughly inspected by our technicians. As a guarantee, HondaTrue Used models come with factory warranty coverage for 100 days or 5,000 miles and are covered under Honda’s three-day exchange policy. They also include roadside assistance, trip interruption coverage, concierge service, a 90-day trial of SiriusXM, and one complimentary oil change.
A HondaTrue Certified vehicle represents a great all-around choice for used car shoppers. This level of the Honda Certified program covers models that are up to five years old with no more than 80,000 miles on them. They also come with more extensive warranty coverage, including seven years or 100,000 miles of powertrain coverage. If the vehicle is still within its new vehicle non-powertrain warranty coverage, that coverage will be extended to four years or 48,000 miles—otherwise, it will be covered for one year or 12,000 miles. All the other benefits are the same as the HondaTrue Used level, except you also get a second complimentary oil change at our service center.
HondaTrue Certified+ is the highest level of the Honda Certified program and comes with the most extensive benefits. It is also restricted to like-new pre-owned vehicles that are no more than 12 months old and have fewer than 12,000 miles on them. While powertrain warranty coverage remains the same at seven years or 100,000 miles, non-powertrain coverage is extended to an exceptional five years or 86,000 miles. With this class of CPO vehicle, you are literally getting better coverage than you would with a brand-new model.
