Drivers looking for a compact sedan don’t have as many choices as they once did. This is because so many brands have followed the trends, shifting their focus to SUVs instead of cars. They think that every driver wants either an SUV or a pickup truck. But they are making a mistake since there are still many commuters and daily drivers who know the advantages of driving a compact sedan. They are easy to handle, have roomy interiors, and deliver excellent fuel economy. This is why Honda still offers the Civic, the compact car that first put the brand on the map. If you are looking for a Honda Civic for sale, the place to go is Eskridge Honda.

We are a full-service Honda dealership. This means that we can get you the trim you want for your 2024 Civic with all of the features you are looking for. You can determine what features you need in and on your car. When you visit us, you can get everything you need from your Civic. You will also find out that even though there aren’t as many choices of compact sedans as there once were, you don’t need all those other options. All you need is a Civic.

Honda Civic LX

The base trim level of the 2024 Civic sedan is the LX. However, with an MSRP of $23,950 and all of its standard features, it isn’t really fair to call it a base or entry-level trim.[a] This five-seat, front-wheel drive Civic rides on a set of 16-inch steel wheels. It is powered by a 2.0L I-4 gas engine paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The transmission has a Sport mode for increased acceleration. The engine has a dual overhead camshaft (DOHC) configuration, with 16 valves for its four cylinders. Honda has given it an Idle-Stop feature that shuts down the engine when you come to a complete stop, reducing fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. This is a feature of all Civic trims. It uses multi-point fuel injection to deliver 158 hp at 6,500 RPM and 138 lb-ft of torque at 4,200 RPM. As a result, you will get exceptional fuel economy—an impressive EPA-estimated 35 MPG in combined driving.[b]

The Civic LX features cloth-trimmed seats. The rear cargo space has 24.5 cu.ft. of cargo space, but you can slide in long objects by folding down the rear seats. There are cup holders in the front for your and your passenger’s beverages.
Honda has equipped the Civic with many standard advanced technology systems. The infotainment system features a seven-inch color touchscreen. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, allowing you to sync your phones to make hands-free calls and texts. You can also stream your favorite music. The sound system on the Civic LX has four speakers powered by 160 watts.

The Civic LX also comes with the Honda Sensing Safety & Driver-Assistive Technologies. This suite of five different systems will help you avoid getting into an accident when driving your Civic. The Collision Mitigation Braking System will detect a potential collision with another vehicle or a pedestrian and automatically apply the emergency brakes to bring your Civic to a stop. A Road Departure Mitigation System will use steering assistance to keep you from drifting off the road or into an adjacent lane. This will come in handy if you get distracted while driving. Similarly, the Lane Keeping Assist System with Traffic Jam Assist will keep your Civic centered on the road. The Traffic Sign Recognition feature will post the current speed limit on your infotainment system so you can avoid speeding tickets. Finally, Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow will adjust your preset cruise control speed to that of any slower-moving vehicles in front of you. As soon as the other vehicle exits your lane, the system will return you to your desired speed.

Honda Civic Sport

As its name implies, the Civic Sport is a sportier version of this popular compact sedan. In addition to the features of the Civic LX, the Sport trim rides on larger 18-inch gloss black alloy wheels. While it shares the same engine as the LX, it adds a set of paddle shifters to the CVT. These will allow you to emulate the performance of a manual transmission without the hassle of having to work a clutch. While this causes a slight reduction in fuel economy, you will still get up to 33 MPG in combined city and highway driving, as estimated by the EPA.[b]

Honda has added a remote engine starter to the Civic Sport. This will allow you to start your car on cold or hot days, so you will have the proper temperature inside your Civic when you head out for the day. There is also a Smart Entry with Walk Away Auto Lock that will lock your Civic’s doors if you forget to after you’ve parked. In keeping with the sporty styling of this trim, the interior features a Sport brake and accelerator pedals, and leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. The audio system on the Sport gives you 180 watts of power through eight speakers. The 2024 Civic Sport has an MSRP of $25,550.[a]

Honda Civic EX

Where the Civic Sport is about performance, the Civic EX is about comfort and convenience. This trim is one of two to feature a 1.5-liter Turbo I-4 gas engine and has an MSRP of $26,950.[a] This also has a CVT transmission with a DOHC design with 16 valves for its four cylinders. However, the addition of a turbocharger and direct fuel injection allow it to deliver 180 hp at 6,000 RPM and 177 lb-ft of torque at 1,700-4,500 RPM, despite its smaller size. This allows it to provide a very impressive EPA-estimated 36 MPG in combined fuel economy while also giving it solid acceleration.[b]

The Civic EX rides on a set of 17-inch alloy wheels. It also adds BSI to the standard set of Honda Sensing safety features. This Blind Spot Information system will make it easier to change lanes. When you signal, the BSI will let you know if the adjacent lane is clear so you can avoid collisions.

The side mirrors and front-row seats on the Civic EX are heated. This will come in handy on cold winter mornings. The one-touch power moonroof will let the outdoors inside. You can open it on warm days or close the glass top on colder ones. Either way, it will add natural light to your Civic EX’s interior. There are cup holders in the front and back, as well as a USB charging port in front to help keep your devices charged up when you are out on the road in your Civic EX.

Honda Civic Touring

Honda has really pulled out all of the stops on the 2024 Civic Touring. This top trim features the same engine as the Civic EX but adds a pair of paddle shifters to the transmission. The Civic Touring rides on a set of 18-inch alloy wheels with Gloss Shark Gray inserts. This trim also gets a solid 34 MPG in combined EPA-estimated fuel economy.[b]

The Civic Touring has an MSRP of $30,550 and is the only trim with leather seats.[a] The seats are heated, and there are cup holders and USB charging ports in front and back. The driver’s seat is eight-way power-adjustable, while the front passenger’s seat is four-way power-adjustable. There is an automatic-dimming rearview mirror that will reduce glare when driving at night. The Civic Touring also adds BSI and a Rear Cross Traffic Monitor to the Honda Sensing suite. This provides a wider view angle than the standard rearview camera. Front and rear parking sensors will also come in handy when you need to parallel park, letting you know if you are getting too close to the curb or another vehicle.

If you are an audiophile, you will love the 2024 Civic Touring. There is a standard Bose Premium Sound System with 12 speakers, including a subwoofer to capture all of the bass tones. The infotainment system features a larger nine-inch color touchscreen, with Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation, allowing you to get wherever you are going in your Civic. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, allowing you to connect your phone even if you left the charging cables at home. In fact, you can keep your phone charged at all times by using the Qi-Compatible wireless phone charger, an exclusive feature on the Civic Touring.
