A: Honda has limited the program to original vehicle owners/lessees whose vehicles are within the manufacturer's warranty period and who request reimbursement for NHTSA-approved and compliant modifications to their vehicles.
A: No. The Honda New Vehicle Limited Warranty applies only to the Honda vehicle. It does not include the adaptive equipment, its installation or any other non-original equipment.
A: No, adaptive equipment and modifications unto themselves do not void the New Vehicle Limited Warranty that applies to the Honda product. However, if your vehicle experiences a problem/failure and that problem/failure is determined by Honda to be the direct result of the adaptive equipment and/or its installation, your warranty coverage may be voided for that particular repair. All warranty issues are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
